A tablespoon (14.7 ml) of sesame oil contains
*15% saturated fat (palmitic acid),

*43% polyunsaturated fat (linoleic acid).
Sesame oil is enriched with essential vitamins like vitamin E, vitamin B complex, vitamin D. It's also rich in amino acids that are essential in building up proteins, and minerals like iron, copper, calcium, manganese, magnesium, selenium, phosphorus, zinc etc.
