6 incredible benefits of CASTOR OIL for: SKIN, HAIRS and BODY

Hi friends
Do you want to say goodbye to itchy scalp and dandruff, skin infection, heavy stomach, bloating and constipation naturally?

I know you want and, even you can get rid of all above-mentioned issues naturally with just one natural ingredient and that is “CASTOR OIL”.
In ancient Ayurveda, “CASTOR OIL” is renowned for its ability to balance “VATA” and eliminates AMA (toxic remains in the system mainly due to improper digestion).

Properties of Castor oil
Benefits of CASTOR OIL
Now there may be several questions popped up in your mind that,
How can “CASTOR OIL” alone resolve so many different issues?
Why “CASTOR OIL” is so special, with respect to other oils?

Etc…………………………?

So before discussing the benefits of “CASTOR OIL”, let’s first investigate

WHAT IS “CASTOR OIL”:

Castor oil extracted from castor seeds (beans). It is pale yellow in color, non-volatile and viscous in nature. It contains Vitamin E, Omega-6, omega-9 and other antioxidants, that is the key elements responsible for strong hair and glowing skin. It is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and triglyceride that’s why castor oil help to fight skin infections, exerts analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Although Castor beans (Ricinus communis), which is the source of castor oil, contain ricin and some allergenic (2S albumin) proteins(which are deleterious in nature); however, processed or refined castor oil is free from any of these substances and can be safely used in pharmaceutical applications.

Why “CASTOR OIL” is so special, with respect to other oils?

Castor oil has very unique fatty acids profile which is as follows:
*Monounsaturated fats Ricinoleic Acid 88-90%;
*Polyunsaturated fats Linoleic Acid 3-4%
*Polyunsaturated fats linolenic fatty acid <1%
*Saturated fats Stearic Acid 1%

“CASTOR OIL” is so special and unique among other oils, because of its very high Ricinoleic Acid (RA) content. As you can see that “CASTOR OIL” contains approx. 90% Ricinoleic Acid (omega-9 fatty acid), which is an unusual omega-9 fatty acid and not found in any substance other than castor oil with such a large quantity.

It provides longer shelf life to “CASTOR OIL” with respect to other oils because hydroxyl functionality of Ricinoleic Acid provides oxidative stability to the oil by preventing peroxide formation.
Its anti-microbial property helps to protect our skin against invading viruses, bacteria, and yeasts.
Ricinoleic Acid in combination with oleic, linoleic, linolenic and other fatty acids found in “CASTOR OIL” is very effective in the treatment of gout and arthritis.

In addition to this “CASTOR OIL” is also renowned for its various medicinal and anti-bacterial properties by virtue of which it is used as a major ingredient in various skin-care and hair-care products.
Properties and BENEFITS of CASTOR OIL

Yes, it’s true!

*Emotional stress & strain;
*…………………………………………………………………etc.

May all contribute to a poor bowel movement.
In this modern and fast pace life; we can’t prevent all the causes related to constipation simultaneously.
Now question comes
How can we prevent constipation and get rid of it?
Being a blessed child of “Mother nature”, we can find the solution to our maximum problems by virtue of “mother nature” itself. There are so many natural ingredients readily available, which can completely cure and prevent constipation as well without any medication and side effects.
So let’s start with the natural remedies of constipation.

Pears for constipation
Natural Remedies for "Constipation"
Because Pears fruits are rich in dietary fiber such as pectin, and dietary fiber helps to open up the intestines which help in making bowel movements easier and thus help in preventing and treating constipation.
Pears juice contains 6.5% fructose and 1.3% sucrose and, fructose
does not get absorbed in small intestine, while being fermented in the large intestine, and works similar to dietary fiber in preventing and treating constipation.
According to the study published in the U.S. national library of medicine, consumption of pears may improve gut health and prevent constipation; being a rich source of fructose and sorbitol pears fruit can be used as a natural remedy for constipation in infants and children.

You can also add some herbs and spices such as cumin, cinnamon, fennel etc. These herbs and spices will help in flushing out toxins from the digestive tract and colon.

*Triphala:

1. Amla(Phyllanthus
emblica) or Amalaki;
2. Harad(Terminalia chebula) or Haritaki
3. Baheda(Terminalia
bellirica) or Bibhitaki;
The combination of these three fruits has a synergistic effect to strengthen many other systems as well. That’s why Triphala not only helps to correct constipation furthermore, it also promotes detoxification of the whole body and improves digestion via proper absorption of food in the intestine and acts as a mild laxative. It cleanses the gastrointestinal tract and promotes overall health.
Triphala also helps to reduce high blood pressure and hypertension and improves blood circulation.
According to the study published in the national center for biotechnology information (NCBI), Triphala helps in healing the inflammation of fistula-in-
ano, it also helps in easy bowel movements and relieves constipation, a problem often troubling the people suffering from hemorrhoids(piles).
Due to Triphala's overall medicinal properties, it can be viewed as a bowel cleanser and tonic and hence it is safe for long-term use.

How to use:

To relieve constipation, in the night have 1-2 teaspoon OR 5 to 10 gms of Triphala powder with lukewarm water before going to bed.
You can start with the ¼ teaspoon as well.

Bottom Line for constipation:

The number of motions required for normal health varies from person to person, but at least one clear bowel movement a day is essential and considered as normal.
To prevent constipation, avoid drinking water during meals, as it dilutes the gastric juices, which are essential for digestion and promotes constipation.
Always use mild laxative instead of purgatives (Strong laxative) to get rid of constipation.

Conclusion:

So now you are able to understand the importance of proper bowel movement and, how to maintain it with natural alternative and proper diet. So go for a natural alternative with a healthy lifestyle and stay healthy forever and ever.
